🎮 Unique Game Modes: More Ways to Brawl
-
Before the match, players select brawlers as usual.
Once inside the match, brawlers randomly swap their weapons & attack styles. (e.g., Piper changes her attack style from sniper to Edgar’s auto, the same as Edgar.)
Keeps gadgets and Supers intact, but players must adapt to new attack mechanics.
Why?
Adds surprise and unpredictability, keeping gameplay fresh.
-
Players select their brawlers as usual before the match.
Upon entering the game, each player randomly receives one of the six selected brawlers.
All brawlers remain fully maxed out, ensuring fair play.
Why?
Encourages more strategic thinking and adaptability
-
Players can swap their gadgets once per match, introducing more strategic depth.
Restrictions to ensure balance:
One-time swap per match → Prevents excessive gadget changes.
Cooldown after switching (e.g., 30 seconds) → Ensures careful decision-making.
Swap can only occur at specific moments:
Upon respawn (players can choose to switch before re-entering combat).
At designated swap zones (in certain modes, such as Heist or Siege, swap points can be placed on the map).
Why?
Increases tactical depth → Players can adapt to their opponents' strategies instead of being locked into a pre-game choice.
Improves competitive play → High-level players gain another layer of skill expression through mid-game adjustments.
Enhances overall game enjoyment → Prevents matches from feeling stale due to an initial bad gadget choice.
-
A 5-stage progressive PvE challenge mode, where three players battle against increasingly powerful AI in randomly selected 3v3 modes.
Each stage has a different map and mode, offering unique tactical challenges.
The bots are intentionally overpowered, equipped with enhanced gadgets, instant-charging Supers, and exaggerated effects.
For example, a bot-controlled Mandy unleashes her Super with eight rotating beams instead of the usual three, creating near-impossible dodge patterns.
• Rewards: Players who complete all stages earn exclusive titles or emotes that showcase their victory against the odds.
Why?
Transforms PvE from passive to strategically intense.
Gives high-skill players something meaningful to conquer.
Encourages cooperative play and replayability with rotating challenges.
-
Each game features a unique “Mutator” rule that affects all players.
Possible Mutators:
“Supercharged” ⚡ → Supers auto-charge, but damage is halved.
“Bouncing Bullets” 🔄 → All projectiles bounce once off walls.
“Low Gravity” 🌙 → Movement speed is reduced, but jumps (e.g., Mico’s Auto) become extreme.
“Gadget Chaos” 🎛️ → Using a gadget randomly triggers one of two available gadgets for that brawler.
